According to our friends at Virginia Interfaith Center for Public Policy, The maternal mortality rate for Black women in Virginia is three to four times higher than their counterparts. The CDC consistently reports that most pregnancy related deaths are preventable; the latest figure is 90%.

Constitutional Amendment for Reproductive Freedom (HJ519, SJ255): this amendment gives Virginian's the freedom to make their own decisions about their health, economic security, and future.
